These original spring 2022 headline tour dates were meant to be accompanied by a brand new PVRIS album.

Due to the unlimited amount of obstacles and setbacks brought on from the pandemic along with being placed in limbo by our old label; the lack of space, lack of time, lack of budget and conflict of priorities/interest regarding the PVRIS brand and community (from them not us) proved it nearly impossible to have this album written, recorded, conceptualized, up to standard and ready for your consumption by the time of this tour.

I never want to compromise the creative quality or integrity of our music and visuals, this is something  that unfortunately had to be done too many times on this past album cycle (we gave it our best despite the circumstances). I refuse to do that moving forward. PVRIS deserves better and you deserve better as you are the sole reason we get to do what we do.

Our spring tour will be moved to 2023.

PVRIS is now free to move forward into this next chapter.

Aufgrund von unvorhersehbaren Renovierungsarbeiten im Technikum wird die PVRIS Show vom 30.04.2022 ins Backstage Werk verlegt. Bereits fürs Technikum gekaufte Tickets bleiben natürlich auch für die Show im Backstage Werk gültig.

PVRIS – schon die Schreibweise des Bandnamens lässt aufhorchen. Und die Musik des Alternative-Pop-Trios tut es erst recht. Zwei Alben hat die Band aus dem amerikanischen Lowell, Massachusetts bereits veröffentlicht, zuletzt ›All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell‹ (2017), das u.a. Platz 4 der offiziellen britischen Charts und der US-Alternative-Charts erreichte. Nun feiern sie mit ihren beiden neuen Songs ›Death of Me‹, das von Gunn und dem Grammy-nominierten JT Daly (K.Flay) co-produziert wurde und ›Hallucinations‹ ihren Einstand bei Warner Music. PVRIS geben damit einen ersten Vorgeschmack auf ihr mit Spannung erwartetes, kommendes Album, mit dem die Band – wie die Singles vermuten lassen – musikalisch eine neue Ära einläuten wird.

Seit ihrer Gründung 2012 haben PVRIS – bestehend aus Lyndsey ›Lynn‹ Gunn (Gesang), Alex Babinski (Gitarre) und Brian MacDonald (Bass/Keyboard) – schnell ihre eigene musikalische Linie gefunden, die Rockelemente mit tiefgründigen, atmosphärischen Beats und Pop-orientierten Melodien kombiniert. 2014 feierten sie ihr Album-Debüt mit ›White Noise‹, das unter anderem die weltweit über 30 Millionen Mal gestreamte Single ›You and I‹ enthielt. Binnen weniger Jahre häufte die Band insgesamt mehr als 220 Millionen Streams an, tourte mit Muse, Fall Out Boy und 30 Seconds To Mars, erntete Kritikerlob von Namen wie New York Times, Rolling Stone, Alternative Press und Billboard und performte bei Jimmy Kimmel Live! und Last Call With Carson Daly.
